AI Myths

Beliefs about AI that deserve a second look

Each numbered entry takes one common belief about AI, answers it in a few sentences, and shows the evidence. It is a reference collection, not a feed.

AI Myths collects the beliefs that most often steer AI decisions inside organizations: that time saved is value created, that a human in the loop makes a system safe, that a better model fixes a weak product. Each entry states the belief the way people actually hold it, gives the reality in a few sentences, then explains why, with sources.

Entries stay short and make one claim each. When a claim needs a longer argument, the entry links to the essay that makes it. They are numbered in the order they were added and grouped below by the part of AI work they affect.

The longer arguments behind these entries are in Writing, including essays on AI strategy, automation and agents.
